Not enough money for the next Bond film
It looks like James Bond might need to take a loan out because filming for the latest movie in the series has been put on hold while the future of the film’s studio, MGM is decided. The outlook for the Metro-Glodwyn-Mayer movie studio is looking bleak as they face financial turmoil and large debts, which may even see the studio being sold. This has all had an effect on films under the studios arm, including the next instalment of the James Bond franchise.
The next Bond, which would have been the 23rd, has now been put on hold indefinitely pending a decision at the studio HQ. Considering the Bond films are the most profitable and successful for MGM, things must be getting quite tight for them to put such a high profile venture on hiatus.
